ADO Airport Transfers from Cancun Aiport
Cancún International Airport (CUN) has four terminals, but ADO operates only from Terminals 2, 3, and 4. Each of these has an ADO customer service module. We strongly advise to book online to avoid waiting times and get your desired seats during high season. The boarding platform are just outside of the Terminal.
From Terminal 2, exit the building and walk to the right along the sidewalk in front of the terminal. Follow it to the end, where you'll reach the bus platforms.
From Terminal 3, exit the building and walk straight ahead. Within about a minute you'll see the ADO platforms and the red buses on your right.
From Terminal 4, take the exit on your left down the covered walkway (the exit straight ahead is for friends and family), which leads to the bus platforms.
Terminal 1 does not have ADO service. Before booking, check which terminal your flight arrives at, and remember that ADO buses serve the terminals in sequence, so your bus may stop at the other terminals before or after yours. Leave a little extra time to find the platform and buy your ticket, especially early in the morning or after 6:00 pm, when the outdoor ticket sellers may not be working and you'll need to buy inside.
The best way to reach your destination
ADO takes you straight from Cancún Airport to the heart of Playa del Carmen in about 1 hour 15 minutes, with no hotel-hopping stops along the way. You board a modern, air-conditioned coach right outside your terminal, stow up to 25 kg of luggage in the hold, and settle in for a direct ride down Highway 307 to the Playa del Carmen terminal on Quinta Avenida, steps from the beach and the Cozumel ferry.
Fares are fixed and clearly priced, buses run frequently throughout the day, and ADO is consistently rated one of the most trusted and safest coach operators in Mexico.
Booking online ahead of time helps you lock in your fare and guarantees a seat on a busy departure, so there are no surprises when you land. Check ADO departures from Cancún Airport and pick the trip that fits your schedule.
