Where is Cancún Aeropuerto station?

Cancún Aeropuerto is the only Tren Maya station in Cancún. It is next to Cancún International Airport, but not inside any passenger terminal, and it is far from downtown Cancún and the hotel zone.

Trains run from here to Playa del Carmen and Tulum (5 a day), and to Valladolid, Chichén Itzá, Izamal and Mérida-Teya (6 a day); one train a day continues to Campeche and Palenque.

Getting to and from the station

  • From the airport terminals: a connecting bus runs between the passenger terminals and the station. It has been free in the past and is now part of Tren Maya Conecta, so check the current fare and stop at your terminal before you travel.
  • From the city and the hotel zone: Tren Maya Conecta buses (MXN 55, since August 2026) link the station with Plaza Las Américas, the hotel zone, the Museo Maya and Plaza La Isla.
  • Taxi or ride-hailing app: possible, but airport-area taxis cost much more than the bus.

ADO buses do not stop at the train station. They use Cancún Airport Terminals 2, 3 and 4 and the downtown ADO terminal on Av. Uxmal.

Train times and fares come from the official Tren Maya booking site, checked on November 1, 2026 for travel in November and December 2026, and show the standard-class (Turista) fare for foreign visitors. ADO times and fares come from the ADO booking flow for Wednesday, December 2, 2026. Both change: check the live times before you travel.
